Well, you wonder why I always dress in black,

WOW.
What a weekend.
So aimee tells me to be home friday by 9, she has a surprise. I hate surprises.
I get home around 10. The surprise was we're spending the weekend in Mansfield down at OSU with jared and the boys.

Fuck yeah.

So we brough down what we had left over from the last get together and pooled some money for when we got down there. Apparently there's this drive-thru that doesn't card, awesome.

We got two 12 packs, bottles, of coors and a 6 pack of guinness. Plus we had stuff to do carbombs with. Friday night wasn't that crazy.

Saturday we dicked around a bit, cause people we're coming down. Buddy came down with Charlie, bob came down. Also, jared has an appartment down there, its way better than my KSU cot that we get, and his mom gave him a mini deep frier, i spent the whole night frying stuff, from eggs to salami to hamburgers and hot dogs, great fucking invention.

So bottom line is i started drinking at 4PM on saturday, i ended up drinking probably anywhere from 15 to 18 beers. PLUS a few white russians, props to brandon on making those, numerous jager shots, ummm, i think thats it. I ended up calling some people, yelling at some people, didn't puke though, hardly ever do.I haven't seen these guys in like a month and a half, they're like brothers. We had fun.

Oh yeah, they didn't have contact holders so i used 2 beer caps, they worked fine.

i don't think i ever mentioned the Adicts show. It was great. they were really awesome actually. I got doug into the brazen rogues too, silly skinhead. Anyway i guess now 2 of his friends bands might come up and try to play with them, who knows.

I forgot to mention that April's younger sister was killed Wednesday. She was hit by a car while walking to school, i knew Ashley and still can't belive she's gone. She will always be missed. Me, aimee and travis went to the calling hours last night, Catie was there. I felt so bad for Ashleys mom, she was only 16. Ashley, rest in peace.

So me and aimee are leaving her moms last night and i had the mustang, i take the first curve on lake before the bridge and theres a black 1993 honda crx in front of me so i anticipate it slowing down, it doesn't, so i sped up. this goes on for the next two curves so im enjoying myself, wondering what will happen.

We both get to the light in front of TA and its a red light, we're both turning left onto 224. I start to get ready to race this bastard.

Light turns green, we both take off, he's in front of me so i can't mash the gas until he goes into the right lane, i step on the gas and its off, he's doing well staying next to me until about 70 and i hit the pedal just a little more and my secondaries kick in, i fly past the kid with my middle finger up at around 90.

So i get off at rt 3 and turn into the new holland oil to get a drink, i look around but there's nothing i want so i leave and on my way out there's this douche bag lookin' kid walking in, total wigger, he looks at me then looks at the floor as i pass him, i get outside and see a shitty looking black crx at the pump.I laughed as i started the mustang and burned rubber gettin' out of there.

anyway, good times

So, i had a great week.
Let's start off with Wednesday.
Me, trav and doug went to see the Horrorpops, Roger Miret & the Disasters and Left Alone.
Awesome concert, great times.
Left alone is really good. They're kinda like rancid, punk/ska thing going on real well. Got to skank so i was in a good mood.

Me and doug ran into roger at the bar so we hung out with him a bit, we both had CLASH tshirts on and he was like, you guys like the clash? we're covering Safe European Home tonight, i'll dedicate it to you guys. So halfway into their set he was like, wheres my friends in the clash shirts? so we got front and center, then later we got on stage and help sing Cleveland Belongs to me. Awesome. Then doug went to go get a shirt and he comes back with a beer with a shirt around it, the merch guy gave it to him, selfish bastard chugged it in the bathroom before i got a chance at it.

Horrorpops did their thing, mosh/skank, great fun.

after the show we hung out with Brian, the bassist. He's from the bronx. Nice guy, got to hear some stories from the road and just plain talk to him.

Then we went outside and hung out with roger somemore. talked to nekroman, and most of the horrorpops. got some pictures, i got some inside info from roger. I was asking when he's gonna do a headlining tour, cause they're always supporting somebody, he said they were gonna in the spring but a certain Mr. Fitz called him up and wants to tour the US next spring, so look forward to a THE BUSINESS with ROGER MIRET & THE DISASTERS tour next year, kick ass.

Last night was SOCIAL DISTORTION @ HOB. It was alright, opening bands sucked but trav and doug were there so it was fun, Fuckin district punx.

pretty much it. Me and doug are going to the ADDICTS @ peabodys, that'll be a good show, Brazen Rogues opening up for them. Might go see the misfits cause Broadview Gutters & Brucies Heroes are playing.
